Red Source Interiors help to create Levi’s Smokehouse
A GNOSALL father and daughter team has helped to create a new restaurant for sauce entrepreneur Levi Roots.
Claire and Phil Reynolds, behind internet-based Red Source Interiors, have just helped to create the Dragons Den star’s Caribbean Smokehouse in London.
Levi Roots made headlines when he appeared on the show with his Reggae Reggae Sauce creation and pitched it to five business bosses, who all rushed to invest. Since then, his products have become a major success in supermarkets.
Claire and Phil designed the loose and banquette seating for the restaurant and had them manufactured in the West Midlands.
Phil said: “We were approached by a top Design practice in London and asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. At that point we had no idea who it was for. It was only after we’d signed the agreement that we were told.”
“We worked alongside the designers to create the interior and bespoke chairs and banquette seating. We used a seat from an old Cadillac at Arnold Clarke’s in Stafford as our inspiration to create the seating.”
“The whole project took eight weeks and we are really pleased with it. The restaurant has now opened.”
Claire and Phil have worked together for 15 years. Claire was 15 when she joined her father, who had been in business for years before, and the duo decided to set up their interiors firm.
“We have sent chairs to Facebook’s headquarters in San Francisco, a top restaurant in Los Angeles and even to clients in Russia,” Claire added.
“We have also worked with several UK hotel and restaurant chains.”
Hotel and Restaurant Furniture Collections can be viewed in detail at their online Contract Furniture Store.
